We had such a great time in the Winter Workshop- that by demand I am offering a continuation of Breaking It Down 1. It is not necessary to have attended the first part. I will be offering an optional review on Sunday afternoon, May 23rd from 2-5. I will review color theory and value studies along with a demo for any students that want to attend. This should catch everyone up from Part 1- as well as serve as a review for returning students. This workshop will be suitable for beginners to advanced students. All work will be from life using still life set-ups. We will reinforce the nuts and bolts of the painting process; including, Value studies, color theory, planning, design, composition and paint application. I will demo using the knife and the brush and both will be welcome in the workshop. I will be adding different exercises to help reinforce the concepts taught. We will also have one day with an outdoor set-up!! If there is a demand for a figurative demo that will be an option based on the group. The group size will be limited to 10!!
